Hello,
I needed a card for a co-worker who loves pumpkins and owls. I saw a cute card of owls sitting on a fence on Pinterest and decided to make something like that and put some pumpkins in front of the fence.
Here's the card:
I made the fence by making strips of light brown paper and rounding the edges. I then stamped each one with gathered twigs distress ink and the woodgrain backgorund stamp.
I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the owls and the pumpkins. I then put them together. I also cut out a scalloped circle to make the clouds in the background on the blue paper. I used a circle punch for the moon and white ink to make it look like the moon is glowing.
I attached all the layers and then created the inside:
I used Silhouette Sketch Pens for the words and cut out the orange and blue frames.

Baking Card
Hello,
I made a birthday card for my supervisor at work. She loves to bake and the color yellow so I made her this card:
I cut a 1 and 1/4 by 5 amd 1/2 strip and three 1 inch squares for the counter. I stamped them with the woodgrain background stamp and used gathered twigs distress ink to color them brown. I added silver brads as the handles.
The stove is cut out rectangles, colored with gray markers and a stamped cookie from the stamp set milk and cookies. The other stamped images are from milk and cookies and baked with love stamps. I colored in all of the stamped images. I then fussy cut them out.
The white background was embossed with a brick embossing folder. I used the baked with love stamp and drew/colored a frame.
For ther inside of the card, I stamped "have a sweet birthday" from the baked with love stamp set and drew/colored a frame to match the frame on the front of the card.
I am entering these challenges:

Deer Card
This is the card:
I cut the deer and tag out with my silhouette. The writing on the tag is written with my silhouette sketch pens. I distressed the edges of the tan paper, the tan oval where the deer is, and the tag. I used the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set from Stampin' Up to create the camoflouge background.
I created a camoflouge background on the inside as well. Here is the inside:
I stamped a bold happy birthday on the inside. It stands out pretty well on the camoflouge background.

Good Luck Card
This was a sad card to make. A co-worker is leaving so I made her a good luck/we will miss you card. I made the card using a joy fold which I found here.
I used pink paper as the backing and then decorative purple paper for the inside piece and the outside flap. I used purple paper as the backing for the inside flap. I used my Silhouette Studio to write the quote and the good luck sentiment. I made the dashes my hand. I added a flower to the front for more decoration.
On the inside flap i made the dashes around the edge to match the outside and used my silhouette to write the we will miss you!

Shopping Card
I have a friend that loves shopping and the color purple. I saw this card idea here with shopping bags and thought it would be perfect for her.
Here it is:
Sorry it's so fuzzy. I had to crop it and it was taken with my phone.
The top bag: I cut out and folded it to be a.... well... bag. I punch holes in the side and added some ribbon for the handle.
The bottom bag is cut from a die with corresponding paper below it. I added a decorative flower to it.
Tissue paper was used inside the bags. There is a strip of ribbon across the top and I made the bow with my bow marker that a friend had her husband make for me (first time I've ever used a bow maker).
I stamped a simple party stamp at the bottom right and added some gem flowers.
On the inside I stamped this image:

Haunted House Card
Hello,
I created a Halloween based birthday card for a co-worker who loves Halloween. The card is made using a cascading fold which I learned to do here.
I used my silhouette cameo to cut all of the pieces. I attached the fence first and then started adding the bats and ghosts where I thought they looked good. I used acetate to hold them up so that they look like they are flying in the sky. The ghosts are made from clear vellum.
This is the card laying flat. The envelope had to be made pretty big to fit the whole card.
The design and wording on the front was created with Silhouette Sketch Pens. I added a glittery black spider that I purchased from AC Moore.
The haunted house is attached to a tag that pulls out from the back. I stamped a simple happy birthday in the center.

Penguin Card
Hey,
I realized one of my co-workers, that I don't see too often because she is a sub where I work, has a birthday on Saturday. She absolutely loves penguins so I decided to make her this card:
I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the pieces for the penguin. I embossed the stomach of the penguin to give him a little texture. I then layered the pieces and attached them to a blue background with a strip of white card stock as the snow. I put a white border around the whole scene and used a snowflake punch for the snowflakes at the top. I used a small dot of silver Stickles in the center of each snowflake to give them a little POP!
I put a simple Happy Birthday on the inside on white paper and attached it to a black rectangle to help it stand out a little. I added a small red flower gem to the upper left hand corner.
